When does the DMZ free trial end?

On Wednesday, November 11 at 10am PT, which is 18:00 GMT and 19:00 CET. It started on November 6 at 12pm PT.

What is DMZ in Modern Warfare 4?

Activision calls it "the definitive Call of Duty extraction experience", a living combat sandbox where every deployment is a new story. You drop into Hajin to loot, fight AI and other players, make deals or betray them, and try to extract with whatever you can carry. Season 1 added the X01 Black Site, a former Russian facility with underground labs and a sealed Deep Vault, plus new bosses such as The Captain. Our Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 guide has the full details.

Do you need Modern Warfare 4 to play the trial?

No. The trial gives full access to DMZ for free during the trial window. On PC it runs through the Call of Duty app on Steam, where about 193,000 people were playing when we checked on November 7.

Is Warzone free too?

Yes, Warzone is always free-to-play. Its Season 1 brought the Hajin and Zodiac maps; see our Warzone Season 1 guide.
