How to Get Feces in Soulmask: Outhouse, Tamed Animals and Fertilizer Recipes

There are two ways to get feces in Soulmask: your tamed animals drop it on their own, and an Outhouse collects it whenever you or your tribesmen use it. You'll need a steady supply, because feces goes into every early fertilizer, and fertilized farmland is how you feed a growing tribe. Here's how to set up both sources and what to make with it.

How do you get feces from animals?

Any tamed creature drops feces now and then. Keeping livestock in a Capybara Pen, Turkey Coop or Barn, or mounts like alpacas and llamas around your base, gives you a passive supply. Check the ground around your pens and stables regularly and pick it up.

How do you build an Outhouse in Soulmask?

The Outhouse is learned under Furniture in Medium Building (Tier 2, Bonfire era) on the Knowledge and Technology tree. Craft it at a Building Workshop from 10 Hardwood Planks, 5 Ceramic Molds and 40 Thatch. Once it's placed, feces collects inside every time you or a tribesman uses it, so a busy base fills it without any extra work.

What is feces used for in Soulmask?

Feces is also an option in Nitrate Ore (10 Fire Ash, 5 Linen and 30 Feces or Compost) and is used to build a Fecal Tank.

How do you set up a farm that uses it?

Place Farmland and a Granary nearby, then assign a tribesman to the Granary. They'll plant seeds from it, tend the crops and store the harvest. Keep the farmland stocked with water and fertilizer: each plot grows 9 to 25 plants depending on the crop's size. Put a few animal pens and an Outhouse near the Fertilizer Bucket and the whole loop runs itself.

Can you eat feces in Soulmask?

You can, but don't. It gives you a Psychological Trauma effect for five minutes that quickly lowers your Recognition.
