Hazzard Hearth comes out on November 5, 2026 on Steam. It's a grounded survival game from GodWinds Studios: your family's yearly trip to a mountain hunting cabin goes wrong when a strange green meteor shower knocks out communications and collapses the pass. Now you're stranded with mutated beasts, wild weather and limited ammo, alone or with one friend in co-op.

When is the Hazzard Hearth release date?

November 5, 2026, on Steam. GodWinds calls it "version 1" and says it will keep updating the game, starting with better co-op and stability.

What is Hazzard Hearth about?

After the meteor shower and the storm that follows, the environment turns corrupted. Animals mutate, and the weather can bring a blizzard one day and a scorcher the next. You try to re-establish communications and maybe solve the mystery of the green glow, or decide the outside world is gone and give up on rescue. You can follow the story or just explore the open world.

How hard is survival in Hazzard Hearth?

It leans realistic. You manage illness, broken bones, raw or frozen food, clean water and limited supplies such as ammo, while hunting, crafting and fishing to stay alive. GodWinds says it likes to have "semi-realistic explanations for everything".

Is Hazzard Hearth co-op?

Yes, but small. You can play single-player offline, or co-op with one friend: the game currently supports a direct connection between a maximum of two players, online or over LAN.

What are the Hazzard Hearth DLCs?

There's a Supporter's Edition and two DLCs, which GodWinds says are mostly there for people who want to support the studio, adding zombies, extra decorations and pet choices.

Does Hazzard Hearth use AI?

According to its Steam disclosure, GodWinds paid for human-made assets, models and music, and used AI tools only to bridge small gaps such as checking for errors.

What are the Hazzard Hearth PC requirements?

Minimum: Windows 10 64-bit, a 4-core CPU (Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X), 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 1060 6 GB or RX 580 8 GB with Vulkan 1.2 support, and 1 GB of storage. It runs on Vulkan only, at low settings for 1080p on that hardware.
