That makes Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on Game Pass the cheapest way to play if you already subscribe. Because it supports Xbox Play Anywhere, buying it on the Xbox Store also gets you the Windows version, with your progress shared between console and PC.

How much does Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy cost?

What's in the Heritage Pack?

The Heritage Pack was the pre-order bonus and is now sold separately for $3.99 (£3.29 on the PS Store). According to Focus Entertainment, it includes:

• The Minoan Sword
• Alec's Pendant (Alec is Sophia's father)
• A digital artbook of more than 30 pages, viewable in-game

It's cosmetic and bonus content. You don't need it to enjoy the game.

Is there a Resonance Collector's Edition?

Yes, in Europe. Focus Entertainment says a Collector Box "celebrates Sophia's adventure through a selection of exclusive collectibles inspired by the game's universe." It's available for pre-order across Europe from the official collector store, with deliveries due to start at the end of October 2026. Focus hasn't announced a North American version.

The soundtrack by composer Olivier Derivière is also out on streaming platforms.

Is Resonance on Switch 2, PS4 or Xbox One?

No. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is only on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There's no PS4 or Xbox One version, and no Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version has been announced. On PC, it's also Steam Deck Verified.

Which version should you buy?

• Game Pass Ultimate member? Play it on Game Pass. It's included.
• PC player? Steam or Epic at $49.99 / £43.99 is the cheapest, and it's Steam Deck Verified.
