When is the Never Be Alone release date?
December 8, 2026, in Early Access on Steam. The store page lists the date, and the game previously carried a Q4 2026 window. There's no launch time yet.
What is Never Be Alone about?
You wake from a six-month coma inside a small, isolated safezone with no memory of who you are. The settlement is fragile and its supplies are limited, so everyone has to pull their weight. To earn your place and uncover your past, you head beyond the walls, fight the infected and deal with the human factions still fighting for control.

The developers promise a fully voiced campaign with more than 1,000 lines of real voice acting and over 30 main missions across three islands. Characters remember what you did and can treat you differently because of it.
How do Never Be Alone's dynamic missions work?
Missions can change in real time depending on your actions and choices, whether missions succeed or fail, which survivors you rescue or leave behind, the weather, the time of day, and earlier conversations. The developers say no two groups will play the story in exactly the same way.
How many players can play Never Be Alone?
There's no fixed cap. The co-op supports as many players as the host computer can handle. You can explore together, share supplies, travel in vehicles and build fortified places to survive, as a duo or a bigger group.

Is there a Never Be Alone demo?
Yes. The free demo launched for Steam Next Fest on October 19. Its first update added customizable hotbar keys, fixed swapped invert settings and aiming that could get stuck, and tripled the health of the Brute. The lead developer says the game has been in development for almost four years, starting as an evenings-and-weekends project alongside a full-time job.
Does Never Be Alone use AI?
The Steam page says generative AI was used to help create some ambient background music and a limited number of environmental textures.
What are the Never Be Alone PC requirements?
Steam lists Windows 10, an Intel Core i7-10300 (as written on the store page), 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 1660 Ti and 3 GB of storage as the minimum. The page lists partial controller support. No console versions have been announced, and the price hasn't been revealed.
