A New Story and Setting in Ghost of Yōtei

Explore the untamed wilderness around Mount Yōtei.

Ghost of Yōtei is set in 1603, more than 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The game transports players to the rugged lands of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), an untamed wilderness beyond Japan’s rule. The sprawling grasslands, snow-covered tundras, and dangerous wildlife create a backdrop for an original story that Sucker Punch is eager to reveal. Atsu, the game’s new protagonist, will don the Ghost mask and carve her legend.

New Mechanics and Visual Upgrades in Ghost of Yōtei

Sucker Punch aims to elevate the gaming experience.

Built from the ground up for PlayStation 5, Ghost of Yōtei will feature improved visuals and mechanics. Players can expect dynamic environments with long sightlines, realistic wind and vegetation movement, and even skies filled with auroras. New weapons, abilities, and gameplay improvements will add depth to the experience, ensuring it feels both fresh and familiar to fans of the series.

Atsu’s Journey: A New Ghost in the Making

Uncover a new legend with Atsu in Ghost of Yōtei.
