How to get the Falx in Shadow of the Erdtree: Hornsent drops it wherever you kill him. Stats, requirements, bleed and the Revenger's Blade skill.
The Falx is a paired curved sword in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and it's dropped by Hornsent wherever you kill him. There are three ways that can happen, depending on how you play his questline. It's a fast Strength and Dexterity weapon with 55 bleed build-up and a unique skill, Revenger's Blade, that dashes you in and slashes with both blades.

Where do you get the Falx in Shadow of the Erdtree?
Hornsent drops it wherever he dies. You can get it in any of these ways:
- Church of the Bud: if you summoned Hornsent to fight Messmer the Impaler, he later invades you near the Church of the Bud site of grace. Defeat him there.
- Shadow Keep: if you help Leda and invade Hornsent's world in Shadow Keep, he drops the Falx when defeated.
- Leda and allies fight: otherwise, you'll find the Falx on his body after the Leda and allies boss fight.
Whichever route your quest takes, you won't miss it for good.
Is the Falx good?
For a bleed build, yes. It's light, fast and builds bleed quickly, and as a paired weapon, two-handing it lets you swing both blades. Revenger's Blade closes gaps fast and hits several times. The trade-offs:
- It can't take Ashes of War, so you're always using Revenger's Blade.
- It can't be buffed with magic or consumables.
- It only slashes, with no thrusts for extra reach.
Patch 1.13 raised the poise damage of dual-wielded curved sword attacks in PvP.
