What is iGame Magazine?
iGame Magazine is an independent gaming website with news, guides, reviews and tech coverage. We focus on survival games and military shooters, especially smaller indie and AA titles, alongside the biggest releases. Our Release Radar tracks upcoming launch dates for games and tech.
Who runs iGame Magazine?
iGame Magazine is run by David Ware, its founder and managing editor, from London, England. The site is independent and isn't owned by a publisher or games company. You can read more on our About page.
How does iGame Magazine make money?
It doesn't. We don't run adverts, we don't use affiliate links, and no one pays us for coverage. Store links in our articles are plain links, with no affiliate or tracking codes.
Do you use AI to write articles?
We use AI tools to help with research and drafting. Every article is checked, fact-checked and edited by David Ware before it is published. Our Editorial Policy explains how we work.
Where does your information come from?
From official sources wherever possible: developers' and publishers' own announcements, Steam and console store pages, official websites and trailers. For guides and critics' roundups we also check reputable gaming publications, and we say so when something is unconfirmed or comes from a single source.
How do your reviews work?
We publish three kinds of review, and each one is clearly labelled. Scored reviews give a score out of 10 with a verdict, pros and cons. Critics' roundups sum up what other outlets have said, with their scores; they aren't our own verdict. First looks cover products we haven't tested in full. Browse them all in Reviews.
What is the Release Radar?
The Release Radar lists upcoming launch dates for games, tech and big game updates, with countdowns, platform filters and delay notes. Star games to build a watchlist (it's saved in your browser, so no account is needed), add launches to Google, Apple or Outlook calendars, and see when a release date changes.
What are game hubs?
A game hub collects all of our coverage of one game in a single place: news, guides, updates and reviews, plus key facts and, for Steam games, the live player count. Any game we've written about in depth gets one.
How do I search the site?
Use the search button at the top of every page, or press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac). Results appear as you type, and you can open the full results page to filter by news, guides or reviews.
Is there a UK version of iGame Magazine?
Yes. The UK edition has the same articles with UK dates and spelling, UK prices in pounds where they're available, and links to UK stores. Switch between the US and UK editions with the language menu in the header.
How can I follow iGame Magazine?
Follow us on X (@iGame_Mag) and Facebook, join our Discord, subscribe to the Release Radar calendar, or add our RSS feed to your reader.
I found a mistake. How do I report it?
Email [email protected] with the article link and what's wrong. We check every report and correct mistakes promptly. Our Editorial Policy explains how corrections work.
I'm a developer or publisher. How do I send news?
Email press releases, trailers and press kits to [email protected]. We're especially interested in survival, military shooter and indie games. We can't promise coverage, and we never accept payment for it.
Can I write for iGame Magazine?
Email [email protected] with a short introduction and links to your writing. We reply when there's an opportunity that fits.
How do I change my cookie settings?
If you're in the UK, EU or Switzerland, we ask before using analytics cookies. Change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie we use.
