HK: RPG is a free open-world game of Hong Kong that you play in your web browser, built by solo developer Jacky Kit. Its tagline is "Reality, Parody, Games": a roughly 1:1 real-world-distance Hong Kong, from the New Territories to Kowloon, Hong Kong Island and the outlying islands, full of trams, ferries, mahjong halls, races, delivery jobs and quests built from internet memes and urban legends. It's in English and Traditional Chinese.
This is an Indie Spotlight, not a review: we haven't played it. Here's what the developer has shown and told us.

How big is HK: RPG?
The game's own world atlas, updated daily, lists a 3,058 km² panorama of Hong Kong including sea and distant views, 23 districts, about 2,400 km of roads, 115,069 buildings (some you can enter), 366 indoor locations and over 400,000 m² of indoor space. Jacky says extreme compression shrinks the map from about 33 GB of data to around 60 MB, so it loads in a browser, with detailed near views supported on iPhone 15 and newer.
