Satisfactory crossplay is now live. Coffee Stain announced on 4 November, exactly one year after the console release, that Steam, Epic, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players can now build factories together in multiplayer even if they're on different platforms. There's one catch: dedicated servers don't work with crossplay yet.

Does Satisfactory have crossplay?

Yes, from 4 November 2026. In Coffee Stain's words, pioneers can now "Construct, Automate, Explore & Exploit in multiplayer together even if they are not on the same platform". Its support page explains how to get started.

Does Satisfactory crossplay work on dedicated servers?

No. Coffee Stain says dedicated servers are currently only available on PC, so they're not available during crossplay. It has also partnered with Indifferent Broccoli for anyone looking at dedicated server hosting.

What else is in the update?

  • Telemetry: a one-time pop-up asks if you want to send gameplay data. You can change your mind in the Options menu.
  • Big saves: potential fixes for being unable to join large saves in multiplayer, though Coffee Stain says some issues remain.
  • Crash fixes: including ones for dedicated servers, the Blueprint Designer and Blueprint Autoconnect.
  • Rebinding: keys that overlap, such as R for Reload, can now be rebound properly.
  • Vehicles: path points now align to the grid when rotated, and autopilot should trail behind other vehicles less.

How much is Satisfactory?

It costs £33.50 / $39.99 / €38.99 on Steam, where about 18,000 people were playing when we checked on 4 November. Want to add mods? See our Satisfactory mods guide.
