The wait is finally over, Fortnite fans! Epic Games has officially announced that Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will launch on March 8, 2024.

New Battle Pass

As with every new Fortnite season, Chapter 5 Season 2 will introduce an all-new Battle Pass packed with 100 tiers of awesome rewards. Epic is staying tight-lipped on the details for now but if past seasons are any indication, we can expect new skins, emotes, sprays, and more. The upcoming season is rumored to have a "treasure hunt" theme so get ready to search the island for buried loot!

Map Changes

Epic loves to shake things up by making major changes to the map with each new season. For Season 2, data miners have uncovered files pointing to a new tropical biome, an expanded Slurpy Swamp, and the return of Tilted Towers.

New Weapons

What's a new Fortnite season without new weapons and items to discover? Leaks suggest we'll be seeing an updated tactical shotgun, proximity mines, and a new rocket launcher.
