A New Era with the Revenant Season Pass
Transitioning to an Episodic Model
Destiny 2 has shifted from its traditional seasonal model to an episodic approach. This change comes with the Destiny 2 Revenant Season Pass, offering a fresh way to experience the game. The Revenant episode is divided into three Acts, each bringing new challenges and rewards.
Expanded Levels and Rewards Structure
The season pass now boasts 200 levels, doubling the previous count. With Act 1 of the Destiny 2 Revenant Season Pass, players can access the first 100 premium levels. Act 2, launching on November 9, adds 40 more unlockables, and Act 3, arriving on January 7, completes the pass with the final 60 rewards. Even if you opt for the free track, there are still plenty of rewards to earn, though premium members receive significantly more.
Exclusive Gear and Exotics Await
Introducing the Alethonym Exotic Grenade Launcher
One of the standout additions in the Destiny 2 Revenant Season Pass is the new Exotic grenade launcher, Alethonym. This weapon introduces a unique ability that supports your fire team. As you eliminate enemies and charge the launcher, you generate ammo for your team. A half-charged Alethonym produces a special ammo brick, while a full charge yields a heavy one.
Unlocking the Shadestalker Armor Set
The season pass also features the Shadestalker armor set. Although it won't be available on the pass until Act 2, you can start earning it by participating in Revenant activities and decrypting Revenant engrams. This armor combines Eliksni's design with vampire-hunting aesthetics, giving it a techno-bloodborne vibe. Equipping Shadestalker pieces grants you reputation points with Apothecary Eido, the episode's vendor, enhancing your progress in the new tonic-crafting system.
