How to Begin the Radahn Festival in Elden Ring: Quick Guide

How to Begin the Radahn Festival in Elden Ring
Reach Altus Plateau
There are two ways to start the Radahn Festival in Elden Ring: reach Altus Plateau or progress Ranni the Witch’s questline far enough until you learn the secrets of Nokron.
Method 1: Use the Grand Lift of Dectus
- Find Both Halves of the Dectus Medallion.
- Right half: In a chest up a ladder in Fort Faroth, Caelid.
- Left half: In Fort Haight, in the east of Mistwood in Limgrave.
- Activate the Lift. Once you have both halves, use the Grand Lift of Dectus in the northern portion of Liurnia of the Lakes to reach the Altus Plateau.
- Return to Redmane Castle. Use the teleporter at the Impassable Greatbridge to enter the castle.
Method 2: Ascend Through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice
- Travel through the valley. Navigate the Ruin-Strewn Precipice at the bottom of the valley.
- Defeat the Magma Wyrm Boss. This boss can be challenging for low-level characters, but defeating it grants access to Altus Plateau.
- Return to Redmane Castle. Use the teleporter at the Impassable Greatbridge to enter the castle.
Progress through Ranni’s Questline
- Start Ranni’s Questline. After clearing Caria Manor, head to Ranni’s Rise in the top left of Liurnia. Speak to Ranni and agree to serve her.
- Speak to NPC Spirits. Inside her tower, talk to the spirits that appear to advance the quest.
- Travel to Siofra River. Use the well in the Mistwood to reach this underground zone.
- Find Blaidd. Head east until you find Blaidd overlooking a ledge. Speak to him and exhaust his dialog.
- Visit Seluvis’s Tower. South of Ranni’s Rise, speak to Seluvis about Nokron and follow his instructions to find Sellen near the Waypoint Ruins. Defeat the underground boss to speak with Sellen.
- Return to Blaidd. Speak to him about fighting Radahn.
- Travel to Redmane Castle. Head to the courtyard and speak to Witch-Hunter Jerren to begin the Radahn Festival.
Entering Redmane Castle
- Proceed through the Castle. Once inside, head through the castle until you encounter several NPCs gathered in a courtyard.
- Speak to Witch-Hunter Jerren. Continue up the stairs and find Jerren overlooking the courtyard. Talking to him will officially begin the Radahn Festival.
- Challenge Starscourge Radahn. Head into the building ahead and down the elevator to face the boss.
