It&#8217;s made by solo developer <strong>Benjamin Adams<\/strong>, it&#8217;s due on Steam on <strong>3 December 2026<\/strong>, and there&#8217;s a <strong>free demo<\/strong> on Steam now.<\/p>\n<p>Ben emailed us about the game, so here&#8217;s our Indie Spotlight. The free demo has been on Steam since 28 August, so you can try it now.<\/p>\n<h2>How does CLICK BAIT play?<\/h2>\n<p>Everything happens on one spinning wheel. The screenshots and developer posts show:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Autocorrect:<\/strong> a teacher fighting you in front of a chalkboard.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Influencer:<\/strong> a pink-robed star in a neon bedroom.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spam Bot<\/strong> and <strong>The AI Slop<\/strong>, the star of its own trailer.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/news\/app\/5071780\/view\/714540659097209338\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brainrot<\/a>:<\/strong> a smiling babysitter in a daycare who covers the wheel in stickers, which you peel away by hitting the white attack windows.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/news\/app\/5071780\/view\/715662753890566457\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The MMORPG<\/a>:<\/strong> an elite fight that changes the rules. You choose your route between fights, shops and &#8220;a chance to touch grass&#8221;, collect from dozens of passive relics, chase PERFECT streaks and take on elite enemy variants for bigger payouts. It supports Steam Cloud saves, achievements and leaderboards, and has adjustable difficulty.<\/p>\n<h2>What are the CLICK BAIT PC requirements?<\/h2>\n<p>They&#8217;re low: Windows 10 64-bit or Ubuntu 20.04, a dual-core 2.0 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM, a graphics card with WebGL2 support (Intel HD 4000 or equivalent) and 1 GB of storage.<\/p>\n<h2>Who makes CLICK BAIT?<\/h2>\n<p>Benjamin Adams, working alone. His Steam posts show how personal the project is: <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/news\/app\/5071780\/view\/717920261052042041\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one scene set in 1996<\/a> features his own cats and favourite childhood photos. &#8220;When you&#8217;re the only person making a game you&#8217;re allowed to do stuff like this,&#8221; he wrote.
