This WARDOGS guide<\/strong> is for anyone who has jumped into a 100-player match, been shot within a minute, and wondered what they were supposed to be doing. WARDOGS barely explains itself, so here’s how it actually works: how you win, how cash works, what the roles are, and the habits that will stop you going broke in your first week.<\/p>\n

Everything here comes from BULKHEAD’s own descriptions and patch notes, and it’s up to date for Season 2<\/strong>, which launched on 15 October 2026.<\/p>\n

How do you win a match in WARDOGS?<\/h2>\n

WARDOGS is inspired by the classic Arma “King of the Hill” mode. Three teams fight over a randomly placed 2x2km Control Zone<\/strong> inside a huge map (BULKHEAD says 256km\u00b2). The team with the most players inside the zone earns points<\/strong>, and the first team to 100 points<\/strong> wins.<\/p>\n

That has one big consequence for new players: kills don’t win matches, bodies in the zone do.<\/strong> Staying alive inside the zone helps your team more than hunting players miles away. The zone’s location changes every match, so no two games play out the same.<\/p>\n

What is the Hot Zone?<\/h2>\n

Inside the Control Zone there’s a smaller, moving area called the Hot Zone<\/strong>. While you’re in it, you count as two players<\/strong> for your team’s score and you earn double cash<\/strong>. It’s the most dangerous place on the map and the most rewarding. Once you’re comfortable, fighting near the Hot Zone is the fastest way to earn.<\/p>\n
