Enshrouded 1.0<\/strong> launches on Thursday, 15 October 2026<\/strong>, taking Keen Games’ co-op survival RPG out of Early Access on Steam<\/strong> and, for the first time, onto PS5<\/strong>. If you’re coming back after a break, or jumping in for the first time, a lot has changed. This Enshrouded 1.0 guide covers everything Keen has confirmed about the release and what to do first when you load in.<\/p>\n

When does Enshrouded 1.0 come out?<\/h2>\n

Enshrouded 1.0 releases on 15 October 2026<\/strong>. Keen Games revealed the date in June and has repeated it ever since. The PlayStation Store lists the PS5 version for 5pm UTC<\/strong> that day. Keen hasn’t given a separate Steam unlock time, so expect the PC update around the same time. Keen also promised a highlights video on release day.<\/p>\n

Is Enshrouded 1.0 on PS5?<\/h2>\n

Yes. The official Enshrouded site now links to the PlayStation Store<\/strong> alongside Steam, and the store page lists the game as PS5 Pro Enhanced<\/strong>, with DualSense haptics and trigger effects. It’s rated PEGI 12 and ESRB Teen. Keen hasn’t announced an Xbox release date.<\/p>\n

Do I need to buy Enshrouded again for 1.0?<\/h2>\n

No. If you already own Enshrouded on Steam, 1.0 is the same game, so you just update it. For new players, the price on Steam went up on 8 September from \u20ac29.99 to \u20ac39.99<\/strong> (\u00a334.99 \/ $39.99), which Keen says it always planned for the end of Early Access.<\/p>\n
