Stalkers in Helldivers 2<\/strong> are cloaking Terminids that only spawn from Stalker Lairs<\/strong>, so the real fix is to find the lair and blow up its bug holes. Until you do, they’ll keep coming. In a fight, aim for the head<\/strong> (175 HP) rather than the 800 HP body, use fire<\/strong> (25% extra damage), and finish them before they retreat to regenerate. Here’s how they work and how to deal with them.<\/p>\n

How do Stalkers behave?<\/h2>\n

Once you’re about 150m<\/strong> from a Stalker Lair, Stalkers start hunting you while camouflaged. Listen for a distinct chittering<\/strong>: that’s one coming. They try to flank and hit you from behind, then reveal themselves at about 20m<\/strong> or when they take enough damage.<\/p>\n

After losing about half their health, they jump back, cloak and regenerate<\/strong> (about 50 HP per second), then return. That’s why you need burst damage to finish them before they get away.<\/p>\n

How do you find a Stalker Lair?<\/h2>\n

Look in the direction the Stalkers are coming from and watch for the orange glow<\/strong> of bug holes. A lair has one or two<\/strong> slightly larger bug holes, and some also spawn Scavengers and Pouncers. Destroying a lair is an optional objective worth 200 Requisition Slips and 50 XP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
