Whenever players try to approach it, the animal hastily retreats back into its burrow. This leads many to wonder why it’s even there. The animal in question is actually a groundhog. This should give players a good idea of what they need to do to interact with it, or at least when they need to do it.<\/p>\n

To gain more hearts, you need to visit this area at a specific time. The groundhog, much like the real-world tradition of Groundhog Day, only comes out under certain conditions. You need to change the system clock on your gaming device to 2 February, Groundhog Day. Once you’ve adjusted the date, return to the save room and approach the groundhog. This time, it won’t retreat, and you’ll be rewarded with an extra heart.<\/p>\n

Usually, if players get eaten by the Chameleon boss, it results in instant death.
