The first major update for MultiVersus<\/a><\/strong> has arrived less than a week after the game’s return, bringing numerous fixes, nerfs, and buffs. Here’s everything you need to know about the MultiVersus update 1.01 patch notes.<\/p>\n

Major Fixes<\/h2>\n

Reward System Fixes<\/h3>\n

The MultiVersus update 1.01 patch notes address several player complaints about daily rewards not appearing or being marked complete in Rift mode. This update has fixed the reward system, ensuring players receive their battle pass experience after every PvP match<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Console-Specific Fixes<\/h3>\n

Several console-specific issues have been resolved. These include visual effects not displaying for PS5 users and performance problems on Xbox consoles.<\/p>\n

Input Issues Resolved<\/h3>\n

The patch also fixed problems where keyboard configurations caused phantom inputs in matches and resolved pause input conflicts in Training mode.<\/p>\n

Nerfs<\/h3>\n

Iron Giant<\/strong> has been temporarily removed from the roster until his attacks are nerfed or he is permanently banned.<\/p>\n

Wonder Woman<\/strong>‘s lasso now has a cooldown before it can grab opponents, addressing complaints about lasso spamming being too oppressive.<\/p>\n

Buffs<\/h3>\n

Taz<\/strong> the speedrunner received a buff. His Tornado ability now deals more damage, with the final hit on a non-cooldown tornado increased from seven to eight.<\/p>\n

Stripe<\/strong> also received a buff; one of his aerial moves now maintains more downward momentum when his attack starts up.<\/p>\n

General Updates<\/h2>\n

Hit Pause Adjustment<\/h3>\n

Hit Pause on all hits has been lowered by 10 percent in 1v1 modes.<\/p>\n

Training Mode<\/h3>\n

Players can now try all fighters in Training Mode, including fighters they do not own.<\/p>\n

Battlepass XP<\/h3>\n

Battlepass XP will now be granted after each PvP match in addition to events and missions.<\/p>\n
